This morning as we were having family devotions, we heard a bunch of hollaring and yelling in the street. When we were finished, we ventured out to see what was going on. The pastor's wife told us that the taxi drivers were striking because of the unfinished roads. They attempted to fix the roads nearly a year ago, but did not finish them. The taxis pulled off to the side, got out of their cars and encouraged others to pull over and join them. There were hundreds of people in the street. It was quite the commotion.
In times like these, it is best to stay away from the commotion. You never know how rowdy they will get, what they will do, or if bullets will fly. The pastor's wife cautioned me to make sure I didn't let the children play outside today. (even with supervision)
Doug snuck up to the top of the roof to get these pictures.
