Since I had my camera along, which I always forget, it gave me a chance to take some pictures of the culture and country. Here is a common sight. There is no sense of overload on a vehicle here.
These are handmade rugs along the road ready to sell.
These roadside stands are very common. It is a way the people in these small towns try to make a living. This is fish for sale. 
This is sugar cane. We are told these white tops mean the sugar cane is past the time of harvest.
