We are in revival services this week, Jan. 13 - 18, with David Middleton as the evangelist. We have been encouraged thus far as God has moved among us. We sense strong opposition as we come into the weekend and would appreciate your prayers. How we long to see victory, especially in the lives of the young people who have been attending the services faithfully.
We've had a few extra things to do this week like get a new battery for the truck after it let us sit by the road on Wednesday. Thankfully, we were within a couple of miles of Middleton's house and Marilyn graciously came and gave us a jump so we could get home. Doug is looking for a particular kind of battery and located it just today. He is currently on his way home with a new battery in the truck and says it is working! Middleton's so kindly let us borrow a vehicle to get to revival these few days.
Our God is so awesome. He knew this need before we did. Just as Doug was on his way back from cashing a check someone had sent us was when the battery died. It was enough to cover the cost of the battery! It's always astounding to see how God supplies our every need.
