
Many buildings were covered with water. Notice the man swimming in the water beside the pole.

This house is completed surrounded by water (you can't see it on the other side). It was a family with 3 children and they would not leave. I sure hope they are okay after the waters crested.

It rained till the cows came home. :-)

People out to see the river out of its banks. Just hours after we crossed this bridge, they were only letting a few cars cross at a time because they said the bridge was moving. I couldn't get a good picture of all the water under the bridge, but the river was WAY out of its banks. Evidently the force of all that water was causing some instability in the bridge. A few days later, the bridge is still standing. We hope it stays that way.

It sure is a good thing they fixed the streets in our area. Otherwise it would have been worse. HA-HA!
