A holiday in the country

The Dominican labor day is around the beginning of May (I forget the exact date). Our church got together with EFM's churches for an outing. It is common here on the holidays for the churches to have an all day get together with services. We went out to EFM's newest church - Hato Viejo. They have lovely facilities there! Our church took a bus of about 35 people. It was relaxing because it was the country - peaceful, quiet, breathtaking scenery - everything the city is not. We immensely enjoyed the day with our brothers and sisters there.
The church was very full.
There weren't enough seats for everyone, so Jonathan & Ryan shared a chair. I was glad to see they didn't mind. :-)
Regina enjoyed playing with the other little girls.
For the afternoon session, the men, women and children had separate sessions. Doug spoke to the men on marriage - a necessary topic in this culture.
