The children happened to notice an owl sitting in our fireplace.
It was definitely an owl and he was sleeping. 
Doug didn't know exactly what to do, so he called a neighbor friend, and he said he'd be right over. He confidently reached in, grabbed the owl, and pulled it out. 
It was neat to see the owl close up and with its eyes open.

That is sooo cool! Asa just saw an owl in the middle of the road the other night! He said it was really neat to see it up close
How funny is that! So cute, too. Hope you guys are enjoying your Christmas home with family.
